The issue started on Amouranth’s April Fools’ Twitch stream when she decided to have a little fun with her viewers by claiming that she was pregnant. After the furor died down from people trying to decide if she was really pregnant (she isn’t), some people took some offense at the joke and the subject she was joking about. More recently she took to social media in order to make it clear she’s not about to let people come after her for what she felt was light-hearted.

One of the disgruntled users tweeted about the incident and tagged well-known YouTuber Keemstar, who is known on social media as someone who often reports about streamer news. Amouranth expressed her annoyance by tweeting, “Imagine an alternate universe where instead of Batman, we have Keemstar.” She went on to posit there should be a special Drama Alert - Keemstar’s channel - logo on a searchlight.
Siragusa continued making light of the poster calling on Keemstar to help, adding that once he was summoned, he could “uselessly” make a video on the subject. She added that once everyone was sated by the video everyone could go back to their “dreary” lives.
Keemstar is far from the only other famous Twitch or YouTube streamer that Amouranth has gone after; it’s pretty clear that she has no problem calling out those she has a problem with if she thinks they deserve it. She also seems to do it in order to make it very clear she’s not really bothered by a bit of negative attention.
In fact, when it comes to negative attention there are some fans who think that the Twitch streamer actually likes the negative attention and goes out of her way to get it. Amouranth has been accused on more than one occasion that she’s even gotten short bans on Twitch in order to draw more attention to herself. Amouranth has repeatedly denied this theory, however. It appears that Amouranth is also dismissing the uproar that her April Fools’ joke caused.
