Hulu will also exclusively host Y: The Last Man, an adaptation of Brian Vaughan’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi comic series from the early 2000s, according to a story about the announcement from The Hollywood Reporter. There is a host of content on the streaming service for all audiences, including original series like The Handmaid’s Tale and Little Fires Everywhere, and last month Toei Animation added the first four seasons of Digimon Digital Monsters.

After American Horror Story began airing in 2011, it has taken on a different overarching story every season, including one based on a mysterious hotel starring Lady Gaga and most recently one based on horror movie icons of the 1980s. As the spin-off American Horror Stories is in development, American Horror Story will also begin its tenth season in 2021.
With streaming services like Netflix gaining extra notoriety thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it makes sense for more high-profile content to be put on Hulu — especially with the service needing to differentiate itself from Disney+ after the Disney and Fox merger. At this point, only time will tell whether the anthology series can thrive on streaming as well as it has on cable.
American Horror Stories is in development for Hulu.
