The Kindle Scribe Is for More Than Just Reading
The star of the show is the new Kindle Scribe. Instead of just reading, you can also write on the e-ink screen.
A 10.2-inch, 300-ppi glare-free display has been designed to create a natural pen-on-paper experience.
Two stylus options are available. The Basic Pen doesn’t require a battery while the Premium Pen offers an eraser and customizable shortcut button.
Along with being able to add handwritten notes to books, you can journal and add to-dos with a variety of templates.
The notebooks will be saved and backed up for free. In early 2023, the notebooks will be available on the Kindle app.
Starting at $339, the Kindle Scribe can be preordered now and will arrive later in 2022. You can select from a tablet with 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB of storage.
Updated Echo Devices Brings New Features
With that, you’ll be able to tap the top of the device for tasks like stopping and resuming music.
The Echo Dot with Clock is sporting an upgrade with high-density dot technology. So along with the time, you can see song information, weather, and more when asking Alexa for information.
All the new speakers will also act as extenders for an existing Eero Wi-Fi network. That can add up to 1,000 square feet of coverage. As nice news, the fourth-generation Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Dot with Clock will receive an update to unlock the same functionality on October 20, 2022.
The updated Echo Dot and Echo Dot with Clock will retail for $49.99 and $59.99, respectively. There is also a new $59.99 Echo Dot Kids with an owl or dragon design.
For all the new Echo speakers, pre-orders are now available with the hardware arriving in October 2022.
A second-generation Echo Auto offers a slimmer design and adhesive mount for more placement flexibility. It’s $54.99.
