Based on the Reacher trailer, the tone of the show will be a little bit on the lighthearted side while still having high stakes. Keep in mind this is just the trailer, so the show may actually end up being “darker” than anticipated. However, for right now, the show seems to stay heavy on the action with a little hint of comedic relief. The first season will adapt the first novel in the Jack Reacher book series, Killing Floor, which will be written by Primetime Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora (Prison Break, Scorpion, Most Dangerous Game), who will also serve as both showrunner and executive producer.
