There wouldn’t have been any shortage of material for the show between the all of the books, including The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye, and The Girl Who Lived Twice. Still, it’s just as well that the new The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo show is going off on its own track; Lisbeth Salander is the protagonist of one book, but not of its sequels, though she does appear in all of them.
