The Chromebook on sale is the Spin 314, a version of the Acer Chromebook 314, which includes a hinge that allows the display to turn 360 degrees. Opening up the display to the full extent essentially turns the laptop into a tablet. The hinge also allows the device to be used in what is called a tent mode. In this mode, the laptop can be used as a tabletop display, like a monitor for playing Fortnite.
Acer Chromebook Spin 317 is equipped with Intel’s Pentium Silver N6000 chipset with integrated graphics, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB eMMC storage, and a 14.0" Full HD IPS display panel. It supports multi-touch and stylus input. Connectivity-wise there’s support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and thus no need for cumbersome old wired non-Bluetooth headsets. In addition to the Chromebook computer, the buyers of the bundle receive Acer’s gray travel backpack designed to hold a laptop up to 15.6 inches in display size and a separate compartment for a 10" tablet.
