RELATED: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 May Add Multiplayer Mode

There’s certainly a possibility that this Horizon Zero Dawn profile was faked. There’s also a possibility that the several other related leaks and rumors related to Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC are also fake. But the sheer number of rumors, even if they’re independently unreliable, do add some credence to the possibility that it’s true.

For consideration’s sake, a rumor spread in early December 2019 that Sony had plans to expand to PC in a meaningful way. Horizon Zero Dawn was said to be the first Sony-published PC game coming as part of this movement, with a February launch date planned. No substantial evidence was provided to support the rumor.

It should be noted that Horizon Zero Dawn originally launched on PS4 on February 28 in 2017. If Sony was panning to bring Horizon Zero Dawn to PC and if the rumor about a February launch is true, then February 28 would be the day to do it.

Whether it’s true that Horizon Zero Dawn is being ported to PC or if it’s just wishful thinking, the game has clearly inspired quite a following. Between rumors of the PC port and rumors about Horizon Zero Dawn 2 being in active development, it’s clear that there’s a demand for the game to reach a wider audience. Sony would be intelligent to capitalize on that, but its goals may not align with a PC focus. Fans will likely know one way or another in a relatively short amount of time.

Horizon Zero Dawn is available now on PS4.
