The two-minute-long video for The Evil Within 2 may not be presented in the high definition quality that other E3 2017 trailers have arrived in, but it certainly makes up for the lack of visual fidelity with a vast array of content. It seems like every hallway that Sebastian walks down will be filled with horrors just around the corner, and the monstrous enemies range from banshees and humanoid figures to a long-armed mass of flesh that seems hell-bent on preventing Sebastian’s attempted rescue of his daughter.
Gamers can take a look at the official The Evil Within 2 gameplay trailer below:
Bethesda’s first trailer had confirmed that the game will arrive on Friday, October 13, 2017, meaning gamers will be able to continue Sebastian’s attempted rescue of Lily over the holiday window. Gamers new to the series who noted some design similarities between this and Resident Evil can pat themselves on the back, as the Evil Within series has been led by former Resident Evil developer Shinji Mikami and his relatively new studio, Tango Gameworks.
Do any enemies in the gameplay trailer for The Evil Within creep you out, Ranters?
The Evil Within 2 will release on October 13, 2017, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
